Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers at Lewa Children’s Home play a vital role in supporting children’s development and the daily operations of the home. Opportunities are flexible and can be tailored to your skills and interests.
Ways You Can Help:
Mentor and build relationships with children
Assist with tutoring, reading, or homework support
Help organize recreational activities and weekend programming
Support life-skills workshops (e.g. financial literacy, self-esteem, career planning)
Collaborate with teachers and caregivers on educational or behavioral support
Assist with administrative projects, grant research, or community partnerships
Lend a hand on the farm or with basic maintenance, if interested
What We Provide:
Comfortable on-site lodging
Some meals provided + access to a kitchen
Transportation into town (approx. 30 minutes away)
Warm, welcoming environment with experienced staff
Assistance with airport pickup from Nairobi, if needed
