Baseball in Eldoret, Kenya

In October of this year, up to about 500 children were learning about and playing the game of baseball in the most unlikely of places you would find this very American sport. Baseball was being played in the mecca of distance Kenyan running, Eldoret. This extraordinary event was brought to Kenya by Baseball Miracles (http://www.baseballmiracles.org), an organization made up of baseball and softball players and fans from the United States that are determined to inspire and help disadvantaged young kids through out the United States and the World through baseball.

Sports for a Better Kenya is inspired by Baseball Miracle's efforts and is determined to continue engaging and inspiring youth through sports.
